Hello, welcome to Monday!
Success. What does that mean to you? Does it mean obtaining wealthy or owning property? Or is it something else like earning a college degree?
No matter how you and I measure success, to enjoy it and cherish it, we must earn success. Money and fame will never make one happy, and this is especially true for people who are considered successful simply because they didn’t earn what they have but had it handed to them by a relative.
If you want success and to cherish it plus be happy, it must be obtained one step at a time.
To me, success is measured by how I see myself and the people I have helped throughout my life. It has indeed taken me 58 years to feel successful, but it has been worth the climb.
I may never be rich or successful as measured by the world’s view, but that isn’t what matters. You see it isn’t the reaching success that is important, what is important is the climb to get there and the lessons learned one step at a time.
If you want to feel happy and successful, find the things that matter most to you that will make you happy, then avoid the elevator and start climbing.
