Your Motivation for December 7, 2017

Welcome to Friday everyone, it’s Shirley from the PatientNextDoor support team.

I read a quote lately that said,

“It costs $0.00 to be a decent human being.”

How true that is for all of us.

Our world is facing the greatest crisis it has ever seen. Hatred, fear, and divisiveness  threaten to tear apart the fabric of decency that has kept us from destroying one another like never before.

There have been times in the past century when the world was threatened by mad men who wanted to control the earth. However, now humanity has discovered new and horrible ways to kill and destroy every creature on the globe.

What will it take to turn humanity around and assure that our species will continue?

Perhaps if each of us, individually, makes up our minds to practice the seven rules listed above, we can save us from ourselves.

I don’t know about you, but I believe humanity is good and wants to be better, but we must put away our petty differences.

If you look at any X-ray, MRI, or CAT scan of any human being from anyplace in the world, you will see we are far more alike than different.

It doesn’t matter what color you are, what region of the globe you come from, what religion you are, your sexual orientation, or any other demograph you can think of, under our skin there are no differences. None at all.

Mahatma Gandhi said it best when he stated;

“Where there is love there is life.”

It’s time we began to love or at least respect one another and embrace our differences instead of trying to force each other to conform to what we believe is right.

The only other course of action leads to destruction and none of us want that.

Another way we are alike.
