You Inspiration Quote for October 4, 2018

It is easy to get so caught up in or problems that we don’t stop to appreciate what we have in our lives that is beautiful.

It is by remembering to pull away from what is bothering us and looking at the positives in our lives that we endure and live happier lives.

Like the quote above states, by allowing one thing that is bothering you to consume all your time and energy on your problems you can miss the wonderful things that all about you.

Good day everyone, it’s me again, Shirley from your Patient Next Door Support Team.

Success, what does it mean to you?

Does it mean “making it” in the world where you own riches and lands?

Does it mean having a college education?

I put it to you that it means a lot more than either of those things.

Success to me is being happy with who you are, with what you have, and enjoying your life.

Not that every day will be a party, but taking the best and running with it so you have something to remember when life gets rotten.

Every small win should propel you forward. That means learning from your mistakes and not being dragged down and owned by them.

It’s okay, not to be okay. Just take a good deep breath and try to remember,  the rain will stop and the sun will shine again.

“I rise to taste the dawn, and find that love alone will shine today.” ~ Ken Wilber

Your Motivational Quote for September 28, 2018

Hey everyone, its Shirley from your Patient Next Door Support Team.

Failures and mistakes, have you ever experienced them?  Of course, you have. All humans make mistakes and experience failures. Sometimes these events can be life-changing.

How have you allowed these challenges to affect you? Have you gotten angry and resentful at life? Or have you done something far more noble and constructive like learning from what has happened?

Yep, you and I are going to mess up and sometimes our mistakes will affect not just us but those we care for the most. If we do mess up, we have two choices.

One, we can blame others for our mistakes and feel self-righteous and sorry for ourselves thinking life isn’t fair.

~or~

Two, we can get back up, brush ourselves off, make amends where possible and then ask ourselves a series of questions like the following:

What can I learn from that mistake that will help me make a better choice next time?

How can I incorporate what I learned into my everyday life?

And, finally, where do I want to go from here?

Letting go of self-righteousness, indignation, and looking at ourselves honestly while learning from our mistakes makes us strong resilient and a wonderful example to our children.

Don’t forget to download and utilize our free Patient Next Door app onto your smartphone. With it, you can share the healthcare journey of you and your child with people who are facing similar conditions.

Hey there, it’s Shirley from the Patient Next Door Support Team.

Well, I’m running late today but I did get your motivational post up and running! Just more proof that I’m a human being at a computer and not a computer myself!

When you consider the above quote, what does it bring to mind?  Does it conjure a picture in your mind of something you would like to do, but are afraid to try?

Or does it make you think of missed opportunities in the past?

Either way, it is never too late to gather up the courage to strike out and change your life. Saying “I Can” instead of “I should, but I won’t” can change your attitude, your life and the way others see you.

At 58, I am striking out on a writing career. Yep, at almost 60 I am finally following my biggest life’s dream. If someone as simple and backward as myself can do it, you can too!

I believe in you!

Hi, it’s Shirley from your Patient Next Door Support Team.

Chasing your dreams may sound immature to some, but the reality is that trying to be what you wish is important to good mental health.

I have a dream of earning my PhD and working for NASA. Will that dream come true? Maybe, maybe not. It doesn’t matter though because like many things good in life, it isn’t the destination matters its the journey.

Dream big and build on your passions.

Your Motivational Saying for September 24, 2018

Hello everyone and welcome to a new week! It’s Shirley again from your Patient Next Door Support Team.

There is an indisputable fact in life, you can’t wait for success to find you because you’ll be waiting forever. Success is something you make for yourself.

How you measure success is the key. If you are measuring success in your life in terms of money, fame and/or prestige most likely you will be disappointed. The reason? You are measuring success by what you haven’t got.

If, however, you turn that around and measure your personal success by what you have then success is waiting for you!

Recognizing what we have and building upon that foundation can make all the difference in the world!

As always, I want to remind you that we here at Patient Next Door Care About You!

If we are all to achieve true freedom in life, the best way to do it is to respect each all humans on planet earth.

September 11th is a solemn day of remembrance for the people of the United States.  What the world witnessed that clear September morning can never be forgotten. So, to honor the souls who fell that morning, we here at Patient Next Door send out this post and add our voices to the millions who have claimed, we will never forget.

We are here if you need us, because we care.
